How can I provide feedback on the competition documents or seek clarification?

It is essential that any questions or communication be directed to the authorized contacts stated in the competition documents. 

How can I find out the results of a recently advertised competition?

Once a contract has been executed, the names of the respondents and the awarded vendor(s) will be posted on the APC website. If you are unsuccessful, you may request a debriefing with City representatives per the timelines indicated in the competition documents.

The City conducts public openings for Invitation to Tender (ITT) only.

How can I protest a bid?

The City of Red Deer’s Dispute Resolution Mechanism is as outlined in the New West Partnership Trade Agreement Part IV – Dispute Resolution.

Does the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) apply to information I provide when competing?

Yes, the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) applies to all procurement activity. Every effort will be made to treat vendor business information as confidential and proprietary, subject to our obligations under the Act.
