Summary Report for Community Amenities Consultation
As The City moved into preparation for the 2015 capital budget, Council received numerous facility requests and determined a comprehensive amenity review was needed. A multi-phased process was developed, that would capture input from Council, the community and administration. The intent was to assist Council’s decision making regarding what amenities should be included in the 2015 Capital Budget and beyond.
Based on Council input and direction, months of research, review and community involvement, The City of Red Deer compiled a list of prioritized community amenities. This list guided Council as they considered the many factors in their deliberations and development of the 2015 Capital Budget.
