School and Playground Zone Changes

For consistency and to reduce confusion, existing Playground Zones and Combination Zones (School + Playground on the same site) will be changed to Playground Zones and speed restrictions will be in place from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Signs will be adjusted as follows:
- along with the standard school or playground zone sign, a time tab will be added to describe when zones are in effect.
- End Zone signs will replace the 50km/h signs previously used to mark the end of a zone.
- There will be one remaining School Zone (39 Street and 40 Avenue) and speed restrictions will be in place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on school days.
Back Lanes - 20 km/h
Effective every day at all times.
