Sport Recognition and Celebration
Rising Sport Stars
Many youth are active in our community playing one or more sports. These young athletes are just beginning their journey to success in these sports and a lifelong journey to being active. Through the new Rising Sport Stars program athletes aged 11 years or younger who participate in a Red Deer sports organization are recognized for their commitment, passion, effort or for overcoming adversity to successfully participate and develop skills, regardless of result.
Certificates of recognition will be awarded to younger generation athletes at this years XPlore Sport Day at the GH Dawe Centre on September 9, 2017 at 10 a.m.
