What is a registered program?

It is an activity or educational program that runs for a specific time frame; early pre-course registering ensures your spot in the program. Class duration and size depends on the nature of the program. You need to pre-register/pay for our programs.

What programs do we offer?

Our Program and Activity Guide is a seasonal publication with descriptive listings of recreation, parks and culture programs run by The City of Red Deer. It also has programs offered by various community groups as well.

How much does it cost?

The costs vary according to the program. The cost of the program must be paid in full at the time of registration. Check the Program and Activity Guide for all program details.

When and where are they offered?

Our programs are typically held in one of our facilities, as noted in the program listing. Community groups run their programs and classes at various venues.

How do you register?

Choose from three registration options:

  • in person at the Collicutt Centre, G.H. Dawe Community Centre, Michener Aquatic Centre, and the Recreation Centre
