Red Deer RCMP arrest wanted woman with stolen property

Red Deer, Alberta – Red Deer RCMP have arrested a woman after finding her in breach of numerous court-ordered conditions and in possession of stolen property.

Shortly after midnight on September 29, RCMP located a suspect they knew to be on court-ordered conditions and discovered she was breaching those conditions. The suspect was located in a parked vehicle in possession of stolen property including fleet fuel cards, vehicle keys, electronics and purses. At the time of her arrest, she was also wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court on September 27 on an unrelated matter.

41 year old Tracy Lyne Dejong faces the following charges in addition to the charges related to the warrant:

  • Criminal Code 145 – Breach of conditions X 2
  • Criminal Code 88(1) – Possession of weapon
  • Criminal Code 355(a) – Possession of stolen property under $5,000 X 2

Dejong is scheduled to appear in court in Red Deer on October 3 at 9:30 am.
