Based on the Provincial budget released yesterday, The City is confident that there will be minimal short-term impacts to the approved City budgets.

Municipal Affairs has extended some of the deadlines to file appeals. Each type of appeal is different and may have a different deadline. For the most up to date information, please contact the Board Clerk directly.
We encourage you to file appeals by email to the attention of the Board Clerk for the applicable Board listed above. If you are unable to submit electronically please submit via regular mail to the attention of the Board Clerk for the applicable Board, located at Box 5008, Red Deer, AB T4N 3T4. Alternatively, you may use the dropbox located at the main entrance of City Hall at 4914 48 Avenue, Red Deer.
In person payments are suspended at this time, as an alternative we are accepting payments:

Starting Friday, March 5, a portion of the south bank trail from Taylor Drive to CPR Pedestrian Bridge, adjacent to the Water Treatment Plant, will close temporarily for construction.

At Monday’s meeting, Council will consider an amendment to the Land Use Bylaw and a site exception to consider continuation of the temporary shelter in Cannery Row.
