The City has released a proposed $180 million 2020 Capital Budget and a $1.2 billion 2021-2029 Capital Plan for City Council's consideration. The proposed budget and plan focus on balancing community needs, current infrastructure and the economy.
On November 18 and 19, Council will consider the recommended projects in the 2020 capital budget and multi-year projects with start dates in 2020. Council will also have the opportunity to approve the 2021-2029 capital plan in principle giving administration the ability to plan future projects while providing the flexibility to adjust projects based on community needs and funding sources.
