Drivers can expect minor delays in the northwest end of the city as traffic signal LED bulbs are replaced over the next week.
Signal LED bulb changes will take place overnight between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. from July 5 to 10 by City contractor EPCOR Technologies.
Drivers can expect to encounter short-term lane closures in the following areas:
- Gaetz Avenue from 59 Street to Highway 11A
- Taylor Drive from 43 Street to Edgar Industrial Drive
- 67 Street from Johnstone Drive to Pamely Avenue
- 77 Street from Taylor Drive to Riverside Drive
Various pedestrian crossing signals across the city will also receive new LED bulbs.
For their safety, residents are asked to stay clear of personnel and equipment. Crews thank members of the public for their patience and cooperation.
For any questions or concerns involving traffic signal LED bulbs, contact The City’s Electric Light and Power department at 403-342-8274.
