Yesterday at approximately 11:45 a.m., Red Deer RCMP provided assistance to Red Deer Emergency Services and City of Red Deer bylaw inspectors at 4614 Ross Street.
Red Deer Emergency Services and bylaw inspectors were conducting a house inspection after neighbours reported a strong smell of diesel and fuel. Upon arrival, Red Deer Emergency Services called for assistance from the RCMP.
As a safety precaution, RCMP cleared the residence while bylaw inspectors and Red Deer Emergency Services conducted their inspection. Upon inspection, gasoline and diesel stored in a variety of non-compliant containers and tanks was found.
