Building permit values rise in April

May 6, 2019 2:05 PM
(Red Deer, Alberta)

Building permit values were up $3 million in April compared to values last month.

Year-to-date building permit values remain lower than the first four months of 2018 but the total number of permits has increased slightly. Industrial permit values took a strong leap over last year; however, commercial permit values have dropped.

Notable permits for April include construction of interior space for a new tenant at Bower Mall and construction of a gas station and convenience store at 10 Vermont Avenue.

Monthly permit statistics are available on The City’s website at: Red Deer Open Data Catalogue.
