Red Deer RCMP investigate break-in at church

February 9, 2017 2:09 PM

Red Deer, Alberta – Red Deer RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify the person or persons who broke into a shed at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at 4929 54 Street and stole two snow blowers.

The break-in was discovered and reported to RCMP on February 8, and police believe it occurred sometime overnight on Sunday, February 5. Church staff discovered that thieves had gained access to a fenced yard behind the church by cutting through the lock on the gate. They then forced open a shed door and stole two snow blowers: an older green John Deere and a new yellow and black Poulan Pro. The thieves also made off with two speakers, a skill saw and various hand tools.
