Red Deer, Alta. – Red Deer RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify possible suspects following as assault at One Eleven Grill earlier this year.
On January 11, 2019, at approximately 10:10 p.m. Red Deer RCMP responded to a call for a report of a man that had been attacked by several people outside the restaurant located at 5301 43 Street. The male victim sustained serious facial injuries as a result of the attack which required extensive medical treatment.
During the investigation, police identified several people believed to be involved and charges have been laid against one male from Red Deer.
Andrew Sandness (33), has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. A Preliminary Hearing for Sandness has been set for October 8, 2019.
Although charges have been laid, based in the investigation and interviews already conducted, the RCMP believe that there are other persons involved in this crime.
