Red Deer RCMP - police presence on Nash Street – UPDATE

Red Deer, Alta. – Red Deer RCMP arrested and charged two people in connection with an incident in Normandeau on Monday morning.

On Feb. 17, 2020 at approximately 2 a.m. police responded to a residence on Nash Street after a person called to report they were a victim of a personal robbery involving a firearm.

Red Deer RCMP and K Division Emergency Response Team arrested Joseph George Kardelis (35), and Dale Lynn Paul (25). Both are charged with robbery with a firearm and several firearms related offences. Both accused will remain in police custody. Their next court date is Feb. 21, 2020.

Red Deer, Alta. – Red Deer RCMP would like to advise the public that there is a heavy police presence on Nash Street in Red Deer.

A search warrant was executed at a residence and two people have been taken into custody. Police will be on scene for several hours. There are no safety concerns to the public.

An update will be provided when available.
