Description
Growing up, Pohly’s allowance each week was $2 for the chores he would do around the house. With that $2 he would get candy or save up for the most recent toy featured in the commercials. It’s funny how much we cherish those moments in our past. ‘Reimagining a Discontinued Childhood’ is the memories of our youth, moments that were so common then that we only realize the value now that they are gone.
Because this wall is located in a shared space, we anticipate people of all generations walking the halls. We hope that the piece is a fun conversation piece for those who remember the $2 bill, and those who may have never seen one in person.
