Description
Comprised of small iridescent glass and ceramic tiles, this series of low relief wall pieces represent underwater portals that allow the viewer to look into Alberta's waterways and see all the species of fish that can be found in the province. The largest mosaic, located in the lobby showcases a non-Alberta fish but one we associate with western Canada - Coho Salmon. What better symbols for an aquatic centre!
