Description
David More mentored International Baccalaureate students from Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School to complete this mural in 2004. This mural is based on a 1912 George Fleming photograph that was taken facing south from this location. The women are fancily dressed with parasols for a sunny afternoon of shopping downtown. A horse and watering cart pass down Ross Street spraying the dirt street to prevent dust. The Greene Block, sandstone building on the corner, is the only building that still remains.
