E-mobility Devices
Immediate safety concern
Example: A device or rider is creating an immediate hazard
Action: Call 9-1-1 or the appropriate emergency service if there is an emergency.
Non-emergency concern (rideshare, public e-mobility devices)
Example: A rideshare e-scooter or e-bike damaged, misplaced, not working or blocking access.
Action: The operator is responsible for its fleet, including maintenance, parking, relocation and removal. Contact the ride-share operator (Lime) directly at help-reddeer@li.me or support@li.me.
Illegal or unsafe use of an e-mobility device
Example:
- Reckless riding
- Motorized device where it isn't allowed
- Illegal e-dirt bike or mini bike use
Action:
- Avoid confrontation
- Take note of the location, time, and description of the issue
- Report the unsafe or unlawful activity to Municipal Policing Services at 403-406-2200.
