  • Buses leave Sorensen Station every 15 minutes starting at 10:45 a.m. to Bower Ponds, and run continuously throughout the day with the last departure at 12 a.m. from Bower Ponds (buses pause during the fireworks show)

  • Phone lines open 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

RCMP Customer Service

The Downtown RCMP Detachment Front Counter and admin line's holiday hours are as follows:

  • Wednesday, July 1 - CLOSED

When the Red Deer RCMP Main Detachment, located at 4602 51 Avenue, is closed for in-person front counter service, incidents can still be reported through 9-1-1, the Police Non-Emergency Line at 403-406-2200, and The City of Red Deer Bylaw Complaint Line at 403-406-8766. The North Detachment remains closed to the public at all times.

Waste Management Facility (Landfill)

The holiday hours for the Waste Management Facility (Landfill) are as follows:

  • Wednesday, July 1 - OPEN 7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
