Family and Community Support Services

FCSS is a partnership between local municipal governments and the provincial Human Services Ministry. The funding is used to support and develop locally driven preventive social services initiatives.

Period Promise

United Way’s Period Promise aims to end period poverty by providing free menstrual products. In support of this initiative, The City will launch a year-long Period Promise pilot project.

Building Safer Communities Fund

The Building Safer Communities Fund (BSCF) is for municipalities and Indigenous communities to support community-led prevention and intervention projects to address gun and gang prevalence.
