Community Better ParticipACTION Grant
The City of Red Deer was named Canada’s Most Active Community in the 2022 ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge, winning the top prize of $100,000 to be used for physical activity and sports initiatives in our community.
Community Culture Grants
The Community Culture Development Fund is a grant program that provides financial support to not-for-profit organizations delivering arts, culture, and heritage initiatives in our community.
REconnect Community Initiative Funding Grant
As part of FCSS Red Deer and District’s Emergent Funding Stream, the REconnect Community Initiative will support projects that reach out and build social connections between people, and stronger, more resilient communities.
Community Recreation Enhancement Grant
The Community Recreation Enhancement Grant is a grant program that provides financial support to not-for-profit organizations delivering recreation initiatives in our community.
Environmental Initiatives Grant
The Environmental Initiatives Grant will provide up to $10,000 per year to support community-led projects that empower citizens to take action to achieve the vision and goals of the Environmental Master Plan.
Recreation & Sport Development Fund
Providing up to $150,000 annually to support recreation and sport development within our community with two funding categories.
