Once again, non-profit groups are invited to apply for funding through The City of Red Deer’s Community Recreation Enhancement Grant. The program provides funding to enhance the delivery of community recreation programs, services and events in Red Deer.
Submissions are received exclusively online. The submission system is quick to set up and easy to use. All applications must be submitted via online portal available at www.reddeer.ca/RecreationGrants.
New this year, is the opportunity for community organizations to join The City for a virtual information session. This session takes place Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m. and RSVPs are required. To RSVP please visit the link below.
Applications are accepted twice per year, on April 4 and October 3. The deadline for the spring 2025 intake is set for Friday, April 4 at 4 p.m.
Each year, The City of Red Deer awards almost $100,000 to community sport and recreation groups in order to support and enhance their ability to deliver recreation services and programs to Red Deerians. The City of Red Deer is proud to offer supportive grant opportunities to assist our local sport and recreation organizations.
