Red Deer RCMP would like to warn the public regarding the growing threat of sextortion, a form of online blackmail where offenders coerce victims into sending explicit images/videos before demanding payment under threat of public exposure.
Red Deer RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating missing 32-year-old Amy Jorden Roan. She was last seen in Red Deer on Oct. 14, 2024. There is concern for her well-being.
On November 15, 2024, at approximately 7:43 p.m., Red Deer RCMP Downtown Patrol Unit were conducting proactive patrols when they observed a vehicle displaying a stolen licence plate in the area of Gaetz Avenue and 50th Street.
On Nov. 20, 2024, at 5:42 p.m. Red Deer RCMP received a report of a stabbing in an industrial area on 79 Street in Red Deer.
Red Deer RCMP with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services, have arrested two individuals and seized multiple firearms and stolen property following their investigation.
On Nov. 14, 2024, at approximately 9:19 a.m., Red Deer RCMP received a report, from staff at a local school in the neighbourhood of Oriole Park, that two students were approached by an unknown driver during their walk to school.
On Nov. 13, 2024, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Red Deer RCMP received a report of a vehicle that had struck multiple stationary vehicles and was driving across the lawns of residences in the neighbourhood of Laredo.
On Nov. 13, 2024, at approximately 3:46 p.m., the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team located an unoccupied vehicle, at a business in north Red Deer, that had been reported as stolen. Officers established surveillance on the vehicle leading to the arrest of
Red Deer RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating missing 27-year-old Skylyn Robicheau. She was last seen in Red Deer on Sept. 30, 2024. There is concern for her well-being.
On Oct. 31, 2024, Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, with the assistance of Red Deer RCMP General Duty officers, the Downtown Patrol Unit and Police Dog Services, successfully located and apprehended two individuals involved in a stolen vehicle incident.
Red Deer RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating missing 15-year-old Dakota Saskosky. She was last seen in north Red Deer on Nov. 1, 2024. There is concern for her well-being.
Red Deer RCMP are currently on scene responding to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision, involving a motorcycle, at the intersection of Taylor Drive and 32 Street.
