On July 3, 2026, Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team (CRT) concluded a drug trafficking investigation which resulted in a significant quantity of drugs being taken off Red Deer city streets.
Red Deer RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Vada Baptiste. Vada was last seen on Aug. 6, 2026, in Red Deer. There is a concern for her wellbeing and police would like to speak with her.

Red Deer, Alta. - Red Deer RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating 14-year-old Caleb Mathison. Caleb was last seen on Aug. 5 at 7 p.m., in Red Deer. There is concern for his wellbeing.
On July 1, 2026, at 12:00 a.m., Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team (CRT) were conducting pro-active patrols in downtown Red Deer, when they observed a known male driving a vehicle while prohibited.
Red Deer RCMP and Fire crews are currently on scene for a structure fire on Highway 595 between 30 Avenue and Range Road 270.
