Red Deer drivers are advised of a traffic disruption on Sunday, November 21 at the intersection of 67 Street and Gaetz (50) avenue as crews complete work on the traffic lights.
Starting at approximately 2:00 a.m., the lights will flash red in all directions and stop signs will be in place to remind drivers to treat the intersection as a four-way stop. To allow crews to complete the work, there will be short periods of time when all traffic is stopped.
Lane closures will also be in place, reducing traffic to one lane in each direction. This work is expected to be complete by 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 21.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and obey all signs and flag persons. This schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
