Residential plowing is nearly complete and to keep us moving along without impacts due to the extreme cold, we will be plowing Green Routes in Snow Zones H & I this weekend. Grey Routes are not being plowed this weekend.
Green Routes are signed with small ‘no-parking’ signs are placed on scheduled routes, a minimum of 12 hours in advance of plows. Vehicles parked on signed streets will be ticketed and towed.
Residents are asked to sign up for Notify Red Deer, to get a text in advance of the plows coming and to follow the schedule on The City’s social media pages and website.
Neighbourhoods impacted include:
Snow Zone H: Eastview, Grandview, Morrisroe and Mountview.
Snow Zone I: Anders and Sunnybrook (north).
Green Routes: Green Routes are collector routes through a neighbourhood and are usually a transit route.
