To help manage property tax payments, Red Deer property owners are encouraged to register for the Tax Instalment Plan (TIP).
TIP allows property owners to pay their property taxes in smaller, automatic monthly instalments.
“The Tax Instalment Plan takes the pressure off property owners to pay their tax bill in one lump sum, which makes it easier for some property owners to manage their property tax payments each year,” said Roxane Preedin, Controller – Property Tax. “Though the annual deadline is June 15, we encourage registering earlier in the year to keep the payments as low as possible.”
