Motorists are advised of upcoming changes to the 19 Street road project.
Beginning Monday, July 24, both directions of traffic will utilize the two westbound lanes from 40 Avenue to Irwin Ave. This is to allow work to begin on the eastbound lanes. The 40 Avenue and 19 Street intersection will continue to remain fully operational. Please follow signage which will direct you to zipper merge.
Additionally, starting July 25, the 19 Street and 49 Ave intersection will reclose to left turns, and traffic will resume as it has for the past two months. The intersection will allow only right-in and right-out turns.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when in construction areas and pedestrians are to cross only at designated crosswalks. This work is weather dependent, and schedules may be subject to change.
