(Red Deer, Alberta)In recognition of Fire Prevention Week, Red Deer Emergency Services is hosting free fire extinguisher training sessions at City of Red Deer facilities this week.
Be prepared to respond to an emergency by learning the proper use of fire extinguishers at one of the following locations:
- Tuesday, October 10 at the G.H. Dawe Centre (NW parking lot) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 11 at the Servus Arena from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Thursday, October 12 at the Collicutt Centre from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hosted by the Fire Prevention Bureau, these drop-in training sessions are open to all ages and no appointment is required.
