Motorists are advised of upcoming traffic pattern changes at the intersection of 19 Street and 49 Avenue as crews progress with the 19 Street Improvements Project.
Starting approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, the intersection at 19 Street and 49 Avenue will be fully open, traffic lights will be functioning, and all four lanes will be open. The intersections of 19 Street and 46 Avenue and Sharpe Avenue will remain right-turn only unless traffic control is onsite to direct otherwise.
For the upcoming Red Deer Rebels’ exhibition games on September 10 and 15 and the season home opener on September 22, RCMP will be posted at the intersection of 19 Street and 46 Avenue before and after games directing traffic to permit left turns.
