Once again, non-profit groups are invited to apply for funding through The City of Red Deer’s Community Recreation Enhancement Grant. The program provides funding to enhance the delivery of community recreation programs, services and events in Red Deer.
The Community Recreation Enhancement Grant is received exclusively via online portal. The submission system is quick to set up and easy to use.
Applications are accepted two times per year. Completed applications must be submitted prior to the corresponding deadlines in April or October of the funding year. The 2024 fall intake deadline is Friday October 18, 2024 at 4 p.m.
In 2023, the City of Red Deer awarded approximately $100,000 to community sport and recreation groups, in order to support and enhance their ability to deliver recreation services and programs to Red Deerians. A complete listing of 2023 grant recipients is available here.
