(Red Deer, Alberta)Building permit values increased in December, with 63 approved permits valued at $7.7 million, compared with 49 permits issued in December 2022 worth $4.5 million.
Year-to-date values remained lower in 2023, with current values at $93 million compared with $154 million last year.
Notable permits include:
- Building permit for construction of new commercial building at 5441 45 Street, valued at $2.7 million,
- Building permit for interior renovations and new exterior signage at 850-5001 19 Street, valued at $2.1 million,
- Building permit for new tenant improvements on second floor of existing three storey building at 201-4132 50 Avenue, valued at $850,000,
- Building permit for addition to existing structure at 71 Queensland Crescent, valued at $350,000,
- Building permit for interior and exterior renovations to existing structure at 7280 Johnstone Drive, valued at $245,000.
