(Red Deer, Alberta)Building permit values decreased in February, with 72 approved permits valued at $4.8 million, compared with 98 permits issued in February 2023 worth $14 million.
Year-to-date values are also lower in 2024, with current values at $12 million, compared with $18.8 million at this time last year.
Notable permits include:
- Building permit for replacement of windows and doors and exterior renovations at 10 Stanton Street, valued at $1.75 million;
- Building permit for restoration work at 6846 66 Street, valued at $1 million;
- Building permit for tenant improvements for a new business at 151-2004 50 Avenue, valued at $330,000;
- Building permit for construction of new, detached single-family dwelling at 54 Lindman Avenue, valued at $195,000;
- Building permit for construction of new, detached single-family dwelling with attached front garage and rear deck at 27 Thayer Close, valued at $145,000.
