(Red Deer, Alberta)In partnership with the Seniors Service Providers Interagency, the City of Red Deer is once again hosting the Seniors Information Fair on October 1 at the Collicutt Centre. The annual event welcomes seniors to explore the many recreation, wellness and support services available in Red Deer and Central Alberta. The event is hosted on October 1 as it is the International Day of Older Persons.
Seniors can expect to experience:
- Information fair with 40+ local vendors
- Try-it pickleball, ice skating (must bring own skates), wall climbing, and fitness classes.
- Free refreshments
- Prizes and give-aways
The Seniors Information Fair is free to attend, and no pre-registration is required. Event details include:
- Tuesday, October 1, 2024
- 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Collicutt Centre-3031 30 Avenue.
- Cost: Free
