About Me

Doug and I have been happily married for 26 years, and are the proud parents of five wonderful children. As a family, we enjoy camping, hiking, gardening, sports of all kinds, family movie nights and board games (my all-time favorite is Sequence). I love walking in the great outdoors, especially forests and mountains, which is why I have a special affinity for our amazing trails and green spaces. I also love history, especially modern European and international relations, and writing. My favourite movies are "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Gladiator."
