xRecreation Centre Outdoor Pool
The facility features a 50-meter, six-lane pool suitable for lane swimming, public swimming, and rentals. Attached is a zero-depth leisure pool designed for young children to safely enjoy water features. The outdoor pool will open for regular use on June 1.
The pool is surrounded by a large deck area which makes it a great space for spending time with family and friends. There are numerous chairs and loungers available for public use as well as a few tables and stationary benches.

Weather Closure Causes
- Storm like conditions: Heavy wind, rain, thunder or lightning
- Temperatures below 18C
- Poor air quality
Outdoor Pool Guidelines
- Children under the age of eight (8) years must be accompanied by a person 16 years of age or older; maximum of three (3) children to one (1) accompanying person.
- Children under eight (8) years old must be within arm’s reach of their accompanying person.
- Individuals who use the pool must have appropriate swim attire as defined in the Aquatics Facilities Use Guidelines (pdf).
- All children under the age of three (3), or anyone incontinent are required to wear a waterproof pant over a swim diaper.
- Admission will be refused to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- People with communicable diseases or infections are not permitted to use the aquatic facility.
- No glass snorkel masks or goggles permitted.
- No glass of any kind allowed on pool deck.
