ENMAX Power is contracted to read the electricity meters for the majority of customers in Red Deer. Your meter is usually read within +/- two days of your monthly scheduled read date. 

It's important to get the most accurate reads from your meter to ensure you are being billed for your actual consumption, otherwise your usage is estimated based on previous history and this can affect your bill.  Estimates can also occur when moving in or out of a property.  You can help avoid estimates by submitting your meter reading.

At any time, the City retains the right to verify customer-submitted reads against our own scheduled physical audits to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.
