New Garden Plot Program Registration

The Garden Plot Program provides participants the opportunity to grow organic food, create strong community connections, while enjoying our outdoor spaces.

New Gardener Registration Day (in person only)

When: Saturday, April 18, 2026
Where: Don Moore Recreation Centre (4501 47A Ave)
Time:
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - or until sold out

Registration is based on availability of gardens on a first come, first served basis. Plots are one garden plot per applicant. Availability of garden plots and sizes will vary from location to location and there is no guarantee of a plot at your chosen garden location.

Applications must be completed and paid for to be registered. It is the responsibility of the applicant to thoroughly review the Application Agreement Terms and Expectations before applying for this program. Below are steps to help speed up the registration and payment process:

  • Step 1: Register for a Look 'n Book account prior to registration day. If you have an account, please make sure your contact info is up to date.
  • Step 2: Review the location and plotpage to determine which garden and plot(s) you are interested in. Garden plot site maps, with available garden plots will also be displayed at the registration tables. There is no guarantee that your chosen garden plot will be available when it is your turn to register, so we recommend having multiple backup choices.
  • Step 3: Print and fill out a 2026 Gardener Application Form (pdf) to bring with you. Application forms will also be available at the Recreation Centre on registration day, if needed. Applications cannot be submitted electronically for New Registration Day.
  • Step 4: Have your preferred payment choice ready - accepted forms of payment: cash, cheque, Visa or MasterCard.
