You can do your part to help keep our city clean and healthy by registering for Green Deer and picking up litter in your backyard, around your neighbourhood, or in a favourite green space.

Guidelines for anyone who wishes to get involved with litter cleanup:

• Remember to wear gloves and closed-toe shoes, and use a litter picker to minimize your risk of injury.
• If you find litter that is unsafe, including needles, call 403-342-8238 or email parksandpublicworks@reddeer.ca. Our staff will respond as soon as possible.
• If you discover an urban encampment (either active or vacant), please report to the police non-emergency line at 403-406-2200.
