Red Deer RCMP have received reports of fraudulent phone calls involving individuals pretending to be bank employees.

Red Deer RCMP have received reports of fraudulent phone calls involving individuals pretending to be bank employees.
On Dec. 22, 2024, at approximately 06:32 a.m., Red Deer RCMP received a report of a panic alarm at a business located on Reichley Street in Red Deer.
Red Deer RCMP are on scene of a fire at 5310 54 street in Red Deer. While emergency workers respond, we ask residents to stay clear of the area.
On Jan. 7, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., a white 2000 Dodge Ram was observed driving southbound in the northbound lane on Gaetz Avenue, near 34 Street. The Dodge Ram hit another vehicle and fled the scene without stopping.
Red Deer RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 26-year-old Marissa Ann Hiltz. She was last seen on Dec. 30, 2024 in Red Deer. There is concern for her well-being.
Peyton Chilton has been located and is safe. Red Deer RCMP would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
Red Deer RCMP is advising of a heavy police presence in the area of 49 Avenue and 53 Street.
Red Deer RCMP are on scene conducting an investigation on Alberts Close in Red Deer. Despite the heavy police presence, there is no ongoing risk to the public.
