Review Board

The Review Board is given the authority of Council in respect of applications for review arising under section 547 of the Municipal Government Act (MGA), property owners may request a formal review of municipal remedial orders. 

Deadline

  • Within fourteen (14) days of the date the Appellant was notified of the issue to which an appeal is sought under section 545 (order to remedy contraventions) of the MGA; OR
  • Within seven (7) days of the date the Appellant was notified of the issue to which and appeal is sought under section 546 (order to remedy dangers and unsightly property) of the MGA.

Filing Fee 

  • There is no filing fee for this type of appeal

Notice to Appeal forms and supporting documentation must be filed using one of the above methods on or before the appeal deadline.

If using the Drop Box, please provide forms and any supporting documentation in a clearly marked envelope to the attention of the Clerk of the Appeal Board with the date to identify when the envelope was submitted.
