Licensing and Community Standards Board

The License and Community Standards Board is a tribunal that hears and makes decisions on appeals for which it is responsible under certain bylaws about permits, licenses, and applicable orders. This Board is comprised of five citizen representatives appointed by City Council to the Red Deer Tribunals. Board Members are not City of Red Deer employees, Members of Council or the Municipal Planning Commission.

Deadline

  • Within fourteen (14) days of the date the Appellant was notified of the order or decision being appeal.
  • Unless an alternative deadline is stipulated by bylaw or enactment. Confirm by reviewing the order or decision you wish to appeal.

Notice to Appeal forms and supporting documentation must be filed using one of the above methods and accompanied by the Filing Fee Payment on or before the appeal deadline.

If using the Drop Box, please provide forms and fee in a clearly marked envelope to the attention of the Clerk of the Appeal Board with the date to identify when the envelope was submitted.
