In partnership with the Canadian Garden Council, we celebrated 2022 as the Year of the Garden by working with community partners and local organizations to provide Red Deerians with opportunities to participate in and learn about gardening, food production, landscaping, caring for green spaces and more.

We celebrated with contests, workshops, community events and recreational activities but the crowning achievement of the year was the coming together of individuals and organizations to inform each other of the great work being done in our community and determine where they can work together to make the greatest impact on Red Deer’s future.
