Red Deer RCMP warn community of fraudulent phone calls
Over the past several days, Red Deer RCMP have received multiple reports of fraudulent phone calls involving fraudsters pretending to be RCMP officers and/or alleged detainees.

On Oct. 30, 2024, Red Deer RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) with the assistance of the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team arrested two individuals as a result of a drug trafficking investigation.
Red Deer RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating missing 43-year-old Trevor Anthony Barnard.
On Oct. 20, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Red Deer RCMP received notification that a vehicle had been stolen while the owner was shopping at a business located in South Red Deer.
On Oct. 21, 2024 and Oct. 23, 2024, officers from Red Deer RCMP Youth and Community Action Team (YCAT) and Red Deer RCMP Police and Crisis Team (PACT) partnered with local schools to host two parent information nights.
On Sept. 21, 2024, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Red Deer RCMP were called to assist Red Deer Community Peace Officers as they had an individual who had fled a traffic stop from them.
Between the period of November 2022 and February 2023, Red Deer RCMP General Investigations Section (GIS) received multiple reports of indecent phone calls being made to real estate agents and others in similar occupations.
On Oct. 17, 2024, at approximately 6:40 a.m., Red Deer RCMP responded to a report of an assault with a weapon outside of a local business.
Red Deer RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating missing 17-year-old Trenton Nepoose.
Red Deer RCMP are seeking the public assistance’s in locating missing 43-year-old Michael Ricamara.
On Oct. 12, 2024, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Red Deer RCMP responded to a report of an assault that occurred outside of a business located in the Aspen Ridge area of Red Deer.
